These specific percentages are calculated based strictly on a 2,000 calorie daily reference diet. If your personal BMR and high activity level require 3,000 calories, these printed percentages will actually be much lower for you in reality. As a general heuristic framework: 5% DV or less is considered biologically "low," while 20% DV or more is considered highly concentrated.
